Set on a narrow inner-city site, The Gable uses careful planning to create a private, light-filled home despite its close neighbouring buildings. Living spaces wrap around a central courtyard, drawing northerly light deep into the interior while connecting with the established garden beyond. Dark metal cladding, warm timber and carefully screened openings give the home a strong contemporary identity within its tightly constrained Prahran setting.
