A sensitive restoration and contemporary addition to a double-fronted Victorian home in Fitzroy North. The original dwelling is carefully retained and restored, while a new rear addition opens the home to northern light, garden and outdoor living. Clerestory glazing, warm timber and a restrained material palette bring character to the new spaces, with passive design and high-performance building systems integrated throughout.
